Joining ASNEN makes you a member of Australia’s peak professional body in acute stroke nursing. It allows you to network with your peers from around Australia, uniting stroke care, resources, and nurses.
It gives you access to the latest stroke education and resources to help improve your knowledge and skills in caring and supporting Australia’s stroke patients across their stroke journey. Accessing our peer networking opportunities provides you with the opportunity to support, and be supported, within your stroke role, ensuring your patients receive expert, evidence-based, acute stroke nursing management.
ASNEN membership ensures you never miss details on our educational webinars or upcoming conferences. Membership also provides access to exclusive nursing awards and scholarships. Members also receive updates of relevant national and international stroke information and news.
The ASNEN committee comprises expert stroke nurses from most Australian states and territories who have broad clinical, academic, research, administrative and executive skill sets, inclusive of large scale nationally funded stroke service improvement projects, policy development and research. As a member you have access to their assistance, advice, and expertise.
Best of all, thanks to the ongoing support of our corporate and private sponsors, membership is free.
Membership of ASNEN is open to all acute stroke nurses wishing to ensure excellence in their stroke nursing practice and improve patient outcomes. We actively encourage all nurses working within stroke, or with an interest in stroke, to join ASNEN.
While designed for nurses, ASNEN membership is open to all healthcare professionals working in, or interested in, stroke education.
