Beata is a Clinical Academic Pharmacist, with experience as a Hospital Pharmacist, Community Pharmacist, and Professor of Pharmacy. She is currently part of the Heart and Stroke Program at the Hunter Medical Research Institute in Newcastle, NSW, and is a Research and Innovation Scholar with the Hunter New England Local Health District. As a pharmacist, she is particularly focused on optimising the use of pharmacotherapy in the prevention of stroke, treatment of acute stroke, and management of post-stroke complications.
